Mr. Severin spoke to Charles Simonyi two times on April 19, the first time was early in the morning after his radio woke him, and the second was while he was at Sylvan Learning Center.
Mrs. Severin used W8BYC call sign as a guest operator on April 20 at 11:00 pm local time. Charles was not calling "CQ", but Mrs. Severin called for the ISS and to their surprise, Mr. and Mrs. Severin heard Charles come back with "Whiskey Eight Brave Yankee Charlie, this is Charles on ISS"!
